Wormwood (artemisia annua) is an herb from the Far East used for centuries in Chinese medicine for addressing specific microbial imbalances. Pure unadulterated Artemesia annua may have an adverse effect on lumen-dwelling protozoa and other unfriendly microbes, supporting balanced intestinal microbiology.*

Wormwood contains many health-promoting constituents, such as nine terpenoids and flavonoids, one of which is artemisinin. A sesquiterpene lactone, artemisinin provides potential for a healthy fungal and microbial environment, as well as cellular health.*
