Suggested Use

As a dietary supplement, add 1 level scoop (8.8 g) to shaker containing 8 oz. of juice or water, drink immediately. Best taken on an empty stomach. More than one scoop per day may be used if desired.

Q: Is ProGreens gluten-free?

A: The manufacturer's supplier of the grass juices and wheat sprout powder used in ProGreens has always said they were free of gluten. This was confirmed by feedback from people with various kinds of grass sensitivities saying they could use ProGreens with no problems.

However, the manufacturer became aware that some Celiac groups say that wheat grass gluten content has not been carefully tested, and may or may not be a problem for celiacs. So, they tested ProGreens for gluten. The result? No gluten could be detected.

The limit of the testing was 10 ppm (parts per million). One serving of ProGreens powder weighs 8.8 grams. So ProGreens either has no gluten, or if any, has less than 0.088 mg (88 micrograms) per serving.

Gluten is found in wheat in much higher concentrations. The manufacturer believes it is likely that ProGreens contains no gluten at all, and that grass juice and sprouts have not yet formed any gluten, as many experts believe.
