Panto Acid: The level of pantothenic acid in the tissues bears a close relationship to the functioning of the adrenals. It seems to stimulate these glands, causing them to increase their production of cortisone and other hormones. Panto Acid is a coenzyme in carbohydrate, fat, and protein metabolism; it is a constituent of the Co-A enzyme system and it is said to play an important role in off-setting the effects of aging and in arming the body against stress.*
