Basic Preventive 5 is a comprehensive, highly concentrated vitamin-mineral-trace element supplement containing more than 30 essential nutrients and cofactors. Basic Preventive 5 essentially combines four formulas in one: a potent antioxidant formula rich in natural beta-carotene (from D. salina), vitamin C and natural vitamin E; a high-potency B-complex supplement; a significant source of bioavailable calcium and magnesium; and a full- spectrum trace element supplement, providing zinc, copper, chromium and selenium. Basic Preventive 5 is iron-free.*

Lipex is a nutritional supplement of soluble dietary fiber from carrageenan and guar gum. Soluble dietary fibers play important roles in the enterohepatic circulation of cholesterol and bile acid. Fermentation of these fibers in the lower intestine leads to the generation of short chain fatty acids, such as acetate, propionate and butyrate, which are important fuels for the colonic mucosa. Lipex also contains soya lecithin, providing the phospholipids phosphatidyl choline, phosphatidyl ethanolamine and phosphatidyl inositol. These phospholipids are involved in the proper metabolism of lipoproteinbound lipoproteinbound triglycerides and cholesterol. EDTA is included to preserve freshness.*

Balance Plus is a dietary supplement providing a well-balanced spectrum of nutritionally important fatty acids which are often recommended for people on low fat, low-cholesterol diets. Balance Plus contains eicosapentaenoic (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), which are important n-3 fatty acids and precursors of the 3-series prostaglandins.*

Also included in Balance Plus is the n-6 gamma-linolenic acid, a precursor of the 1-series prostaglandins, and the n-9 oleic acid from olive oil. PGF 400 is a unique combination of allicin-rich garlic with alfalfa and parsley. PGF 400 provides more than 3,000 mcg of allicin per tablet, and the formula is free of any lingering after-odor or aftertaste. EDTA is included to preserve freshness.*

Suggested Use

Warnings

This product contains VITAMIN K, which interferes with the prescription drugs COUMADIN and WARFARIN. Do not take this if taking either of these drugs. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Store in a cool, dry place.
