Multi Ascorbate has numerous applications because it is a general antioxidant as well as being an integral part of the body's entire collagen and membrane component. Being a water soluble vitamin, it is rapidly eliminated from the body through the urine and should be replenished on a regular basis. Bioflavonoids, also water soluble, are sometimes collectively called Vitamin P. The undiluted citrus bioflavonoid 5X complex used in Multi Ascorbate is 5 times the strength of bioflavonoids used in most supplements. Bioflavonoids assist Vitamin C in maintaining capillary integrity and regulating vascular permeability. The minerals have been added to replenish levels that have been depleted by sodium ascorbate, a form of ascorbic acid, through urination. Multi Ascorbate contains no sodium.*
