Glu-Chon MSM: Glucosamine is an amino monosaccharide produced in the body by the combination of glucose with glutamine, through the enzymatic action of glucosamine synthetase. GS plays a role in the formation of articular surfaces, tendons, ligaments, synovial fluid, skin, bone, nails, heart valves, blood vessels and in mucous secretions of the digestive, respiratory, and urinary tracts. MSM is important in building healthy new cells, relieves pain and inflammation. Chondroitin Sulfate allows cells in tissues to adhere to one another and gives joints their strength and resilience. Other nutrients are added to enhance rebuilding of soft tissues and to reduce connective tissue damage.*
Research indicates that damaged cartilage can be replaced by healthy new cartilage. Therefore, treatment of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis should focus on both inhibiting cartilage breakdown and promoting cartilage repair.*
