Bromeplex Bromezyme is a high potency combination of Bromelain and Papain in capsule form. Both of these substance have long been used as natural enzymes for digestion and gastrointestinal support.* Bromelain has been found in laboratory experimentation to appear in the blood stream in its active form after administration of the enzyme preparation by mouth. Therefore, physicians have found it to be useful in dissolving cellular debris. Such matter includes the protein capsule around diseased cells and fragments of cells produced by edema.*
Consequently, inflamed joints (arthritis, bruises, athletic trauma) respond to bromelain therapy. Papain is added to provide an additional source of proteolytic enzymes. According to Hans Nieper, M.D., of Germany, Bromelain acts like a pipe cleaner for the arteries.*
