A concentrated extract of the leaves of Artemisia annua, an herb from the Far East, used for centuries in Chinese medicine for addressing specific microbial imbalances.* Artemisia possesses properties which potentially support balanced intestinal microbiology.*

NOTE: As of August, 2005, the active ingredient Artemisia annua powder has been replaced with a concentrated extract of the leaves of Artemisia annua. Because of the higher potency, the suggested use is 1 capsule two times daily (instead of 1 or 2 capsules two times daily).

Warnings

Not indicated for pregnant women or nursing mothers. Artemesia annua produces an oxidizing effect in the stomach and intestines. Long term administration greater than 2 or 3 months should be monitored by a healthcare practitioner.
