What sets ALL ONE (Nutritech), a small “boutique” company in Santa Barbara California, apart from the multitude of firms in the highly competitive vitamin industry? Three things: focus, insistence on quality, and innovative formulations.

Owner Doug Ingoldsby believes that ALL ONE’s following is due to the effectiveness of the formulas and the fact that he chooses only the highest quality nutrients regardless of cost. For example, the specialty milk proteins in the Original, Active Seniors, and new Weight Loss formulas come all the way from New Zealand. New Zealand dairies are held to the most stringent standards in the world, mandating that all dairy products be free from antibiotics, chemical residues, and hormones (rbST is illegal in New Zealand). Their cows are grass fed and never exposed to ‘feed lot’ conditions. ALL ONE Green Phyto Base formula uses only certified organic green foods that are never exposed to more than 80 degrees to maintain active enzymes.

The certified organic cereal grasses are grown in the mineral-rich soils of an ancient volcanic lake bed, in the high elevations of the mountains of Utah. The Aktivated Barley--an energy and beta glucan rich complex carbohydrate--in ALL ONE Weight Loss Formulas is specially prepared in Sweden. In keeping with the family tradition, every ALL ONE formula is built up to a standard, not down to a price.

For more than 35 years, Nutritech’s primary focus has been high potency multiple vitamin, mineral, and amino acid powders. Over time, the ALL ONE line of multiple powders has expanded to include six facings: high protein Original, hypoallergenic Rice Base, Green Phyto Base, fruit pigment base Fruit Antioxidant, as well as Active Seniors. Recently, they introduced a new formula for children, ALL ONE Kids.

Along the way they introduced other products but only to complement their multiples. ALL ONE Totally Fiber Complex is a unique blend of more than nine fiber sources, both soluble and insoluble, compounded with sulfur potentiates and herbs. Due to consumer requests, a pure Cal/Mag powder was added to the line. Also this year, in response to the obesity epidemic sweeping the country, they have introduced two safe and effective ALL ONE Weight Loss Formulas.

Nutritech began back in 1972 when Doug began selling ALL ONE. The Ingoldsby family, however, has been in the vitamin business since 1936. Doug’s dad, James, who formulated the ALL ONE Original formula, was responsible for a number of “first’s” in the industry; the first “high potency” Vitamin C tablet (100mg) and, working with renowned nutritionist Adelle Davis, created the first “stress” formula, and many of the first multiple vitamin and mineral combinations, even the first nutrition candy bar: “Tiger’s Milk.” When James sold “Plus Products” in 1968, it was one of the largest supplement manufacturers in the country.

It is a much different world now than when James Ingoldsby founded “Plus Products” in 1936 … a much different world than when Doug introduced the first pure high potency multiple powder 35 years ago in 1972. Though the quality of source materials is vital to the efficacy of the ALL ONE formulas, they also take pride in what they don't put in their formulas, like binders and fillers and bulking agents that may reduce price but ultimately compromise the integrity of the formulas. Purity and potency are never compromised! ALL ONE Formulas do not contain any non-nutritive additives such as binders, fillers, preservatives, disintegrates or moisture protectors. You will also never find sweeteners, yeast, or artificial flavors in an ALL ONE formula.

ALL ONE Milk Proteins from New Zealand
ALL ONE milk proteins (Calcium Caseinate and Whey) are from New Zealand. New Zealand dairies are held to some of the most stringent standards in the world. The dairy cows of New Zealand are grass fed and free grazed and never exposed to "feed lot" conditions. New Zealand mandates that all dairy products must be free of antibiotics, chemical residues and hormones (rbST is illegal in New Zealand). Poland and New Zealand are the only two countries that supply guaranteed rbST-free isolated protein. New Zealand dairy is so pure that beginning next calendar year it will be labeled "Certified Organic."


• The New Zealand Calcium Caseinate (milk protein) is 93% protein, lactose and fat free.
• ALL ONE chooses the New Zealand Whey protein for its Active Seniors formula and the Weight Loss formula because it is a naturally complete protein; it contains all of the essential amino acids required in the daily diet.
• The New Zealand Whey Protein is instantized milk protein from fresh food grade whey by ultra-filtration.
  It contains the highest known levels of branched chain amino acids (BCAAs) in a natural food source.
• Whey protein provides the body with BCAAs to replenish depleted levels and start repairing and rebuilding lean muscle tissue.
• Whey protein isolate has approximately 50% more leucine than soy protein isolate. Leucine is important as it plays a key role in promoting muscle protein synthesis and muscle growth.
• Whey protein is easy to digest and absorb, often people who cannot digest casein can digest whey.

ALL ONE Rice Protein
ALL ONE rice protein is made by filtering protein and fiber from whole white rice digested enzymatically to produce rice syrup. No acids, bases or other chemicals are used in this process. Residual carbohydrates have been washed away from the proteins. The rice is from California and is pesticide free. ALL ONE rice protein is vegan and gluten free.

Organic Green Blend: The green blend used in the ALL ONE Green Phyto Base is a comprehensive blend including alfalfa, kamut, barley and oat grasses; cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage, parsley, kale, and broccoli; kelp and spirulina. These greens are certified organic, cultivated according to strict QAI or USDA standards.

The Greens are grown on a specially selected, dried, ancient volcanic lake bed in Utah at 6000 feet elevation. The fact that the cropland is over 100 miles from any pollution industry means the air quality surrounding the farm is among the purest in North America. The high altitude brings the chlorophyll rich leaves closer to the sun and as a result the plant must produce more chlorophyll.

The greens are flash dried minutes from harvest; they are washed, juiced and then dried. The powder is never in temperatures above 88 degrees. The high chlorophyll content, lightweight proteins, catalytic enzymes and trace minerals promote absorption of the high potency vitamins and minerals in ALL ONE. Each 2-gram dose of green powder contains approximately 60 mg of chlorophyll.

Chlorophyll has been regarded as the single most versatile cleansing, healing and detoxifying substance known to man, offering protection from toxic chemicals. The green powder is gluten free, as gluten is present only after the grain sprouts. Our greens are harvested while they are still a grass.

Aktivated Barley(TM): Barley is the only plant on earth that can, without supplementation, provide nutritional support from birth to old age. "Pre-sprouted" or "activated" barley is super food. All of the energy in the seed has been mobilized to sprout, but sprouting hasn't taken place yet. At this point, the barley is at its most bioactive. The Aktivated Barley used by ALL ONE comes from pure, raw, whole barley- no pesticides, herbicides or GMO's. Aktivated barley is made by using a unique combination of pressure and humidity to activate nutrients and formerly dormant enzymes in the inner kernel of the barley grains. It is then immediately vacuum dehydrated.

Antioxidant Fruit Blend: The fruits in the ALL ONE Fruit Antioxidant blend are chosen for the significant amount of research supporting their high antioxidant (ORAC- Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) values. Tufts scientists measured the antioxidant levels of 50 fresh fruits and vegetables, and found berries occupied the top slots.


• Tart Cherries - Recent medical research validates that tart cherries provide highly effective pain relief and a multiplicity of other health benefits. In 1998, scientists at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, discovered that tart cherries are an excellent source of compounds with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The antioxidant compound anthocyanin found in tart cherries in particular may have a beneficial effect on inflammation.
• Cranberries - The cranberry is most well known for its role in combating urinary tract infections. At the meeting of the American Chemical Society in April 2002 several studies were presented that demonstrated that the antioxidant benefits of the cranberry does not end with UTIs (urinary tract infections). Emerging as one of the most powerful among common fruits studied, cranberries appear to possess anti-cancer properties, inhibit the growth of common food borne pathogens and contain antibacterial properties.
• Blueberries - USDA researcher Ronald Prior, Ph.D, has determined that blueberries have the highest antioxidant capacity of 40 tested fruits and vegetables. Recent laboratory studies suggest blueberries may delay the onset of age-related memory loss. James Joseph, Ph.D, Chief of the USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University, is working with blueberries to examine their potential to help improve motor skills and reverse the short-term memory loss that comes with aging. Wild Blueberries also showed the greatest anti-cancer activity of fruits tested during a University of Illinois study by Mary Ann Lila Smith, Ph.D.
• Apple Pectin - an indigestible soluble fiber, which is effective in lowering cholesterol levels. Researchers at the University of California, Davis, found that apple pectin also acts as an antioxidant against the damaging portion of cholesterol in the blood stream.

The ALL ONE Fruit Antioxidant blend is guaranteed pesticide free. The cranberries and apple fibers are freeze dried to a powder and then sifted and blended with the wild blueberries and tart cherries, which are washed and vacuum dehydrated at 88 degrees. There is no added sugar in the fruit blend. The berries are bitter and sour, not sweet and with the apple they use only the apple fiber. The sugar is insignificant and below the glycemic index. ALL ONE Fruit Antioxidant formula is very safe for diabetics.

ALL ONE MINERALS
All minerals in ALL ONE are proteinated. The minerals are from plant, vegetable or earth sources combined with protein, "chelated". All the amino acids in ALL ONE formulas are naturally occurring derived from whole proteins.
