"Over 90% of my new clients are demonstrably, clinically deficient in trace minerals and elements. Deficiencies and depletions in these vital nutrients can and do contribute to many of today's challenging physical, mental and emotional imbalances. This fundamental biologic truth has been validated countless times in my many years of clinical practice.
"Even if you do not suffer from frank illness, you'll likely notice rapid positive enhancements in your well-being, vitality and energy levels - when you replenish yourself with appropriate types and amounts of trace elements and minerals."* - Timothy Collins, Naturopath If you prefer a tastier, more palatable-to-consume trace mineral product, consider Optimin Ionic Minerals ... it is passion fruit flavored. YES - as mentioned above, 90% of my new clients are demonstrably, clinically deficient and/or depleted in trace minerals and trace elements. If you have lingering or acute wellness issues, chances are good that you may fall in this 90% category as well. In that case, Active Liquid Minerals can definitely help you. Here's how: On average, the human body contains approximately 7 to 8 ounces of the key trace minerals and trace elements contained in Active Liquid Minerals. While some of these mineral elements are somewhat obscure and less well known than their larger cousins (such as calcium, iron and magnesium), they are nonetheless critical in catalyzing and integrating a wide spectrum of important nutritional, chemical, metabolic and functional metabolisms in your body. They are core and central to full energy production, the promotion of vitality, driving strong immunity and maximizing your pathways of elimination. These same minerals and elements are woefully in short supply in the modern, Western diet. This is due to the delirious spread of farming and agricultural techniques employed by corporate agribusiness as well as the heavily and pervasively denatured and depleted processed foods in our stores and restaurants. The facts are fundamental: most people are NOT getting appropriate amounts of trace minerals and trace elements in their diets. In my opinion and clinical experience, this has led to the single largest, most profound (and unfortunately, generally undiscussed and unrecognized) nutritional issue/crisis facing most adults. Active Liquid Minerals are concentrated foods that your system undoubtedly requires and needs to perform to its peak potential and top functionality .... and you are not getting these in sufficient concentrations in your day-to-day diet. Chances are good that you would be most wise to supplement your diet with Active Liquid Minerals. |

The Pros: Since most people are clinically deficient in these trace minerals and trace elements, taking even small amounts of Active Liquid Minerals over a consistent, steady time frame will catalyze, upgrade and significantly enhance a plethora of bodily functions, metabolic states and energy production pathways. Since Active Liquid Minerals are a concentrated food, they will naturally and significantly enhance the performance of virtually all systems in your body. This, of course, is the opposite of a drug which often leads to diminished core physiologic function and/or create adverse side effects. Also, the constituents in Active Liquid Minerals are organically utilized from ancient plant sources. In simple language, this means they are readily and easily absorbed into the bloodstream and tissues of your body. In small amounts, the consumption of this product is absolutely safe and can only enhance your overall well-being - physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically. | Who Can Successfully Consume Active Liquid Minerals? It would be safe and likely very helpful for almost any person over age of 18 years to consume 1 teaspoon of Active Liquid Minerals per day - with food. | The Cons: In predisposed people, the consumption of these sorts of trace minerals and elements can potentially trigger the body to heal and begin processing positively in profound ways. If you consider yourself to be a highly toxic person, or have strong environmental sensitivities and allergies, you'll want to make sure you consult with your healthcare practitioner on the specific amounts and frequencies of the Active Liquid Minerals that are best for you. | Who Should NOT Consume Active Liquid Minerals? Anyone taking 'beta-blocker' type medications for hypertension (high blood pressure). The shift in Ionic molecular structure can enhance the effects of these medications ... leading to potentially precipitous drops in blood pressure. Infants: Any child under the age 18 months - unless there are extreme extenuating circumstances - likely does not need Ionic minerals supplementation. A potential for toxicity exists in children below 18 months. Recreational Drug User - particularly psilocybin's, halluconagenics and other psychedelic drugs. Do NOT consume Ionic minerals when taking those substances. The likelihood of a <bad trip> goes up dramatically. | |

The Basic Minerals are grouped into two categories: essential minerals and trace minerals. Essential minerals, such as calcium, chloride, potassium, sodium, sulfur, phosphorus and magnesium, are needed by the body in larger amounts. The trace minerals, for example: chromium, cobalt, copper, chloride, iodine, iron, manganese, molybdenum, selenium, zinc, are needed in small quantities. Three basic classifications of minerals exist. They are metallic minerals, chelated minerals and colloidal minerals. Metallic minerals are those found in their elemental form. The primary disadvantage of metallic minerals is that their degree of absorption or availability to be utilized the body, is the least of the three forms Chelated minerals are those metallic minerals that are surrounded by an amino acid. This helps to solubilize the mineral and making it more available for the body to use. An example is the chelated mineral chromium picolinate; it is chromium chelated with picolinic acid. Colloidal minerals are those that occur in nature in the colloidal state. They are small particles that can easily be dispersed in a medium such as water. Due to the small particle size, there is an increase in the surface area giving them greater exposure to the liquid in which they are carried. This results in greater absorption or usefulness to the body. There has been much discussion, as well as some confusion, in regards to colloidal versus ionic minerals. By definition, colloidal describes the size of a particle that neither floats nor sinks in water. The smaller the particle, the greater its relative surface area, making the mineral more readily available to be acted upon, broken down and absorbed by the body. All minerals are Colloidal, no matter what form. Ionic simply refers to something that has electrical charge. All matter carries an electrical charge, either positive or negative, enabling the materials to 'stick' together. Research shows that the soil in which plants are grown and on which animals are raised is so depleted in essential nutrients, we simply cannot eat enough volume of food to meet nutritional needs, much less overcome past, accumulated deficiencies. Our diets most often consist of too many processed and junk foods. For this reason alone, a multi-mineral formula is essential to 'put back' all we are no longer receiving from the foods we eat today. A deficiency, or depletion, of a mineral in your diet can relate to a less-than-optimal state of well-being. There are complex interactions among vitamins and minerals, and a deficiency or excess of one affects the others. Those most at risk of a nutritional deficiency are: children, pregnant women, teenage girls, the elderly, chronically ill and vegetarians. | Some of the more common deficiencies would include: | | Iron | cause anemia; low red blood cell count | | Calcium | affection bone density and may lead to osteoporosis | | Iodine | cause is larger than the thyroid gland, a condition called goiter | | Magnesium | causes muscle spasms, weakness and irregular heartbeat | | Potassium | causes weakness, fatigue, loss of appetite and insomnia | | Zinc | causes poor wound healing; increases susceptibility to infection and loss of taste | | Molybdenum | reduced Neurologic communication along the neural pathways and through connective tissues | | Selenium | a lack heightens the potential for lipid aggregation in the bloodstream | | Germanium | required for core vitality and full production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) | Every living cell on this planet depends on minerals. Like vitamins, minerals function as coenzymes. Our minerals come from the earth. If the mineral retreat is not contained in the soil, it will not be in the food grown there and thus will not be provided to us when we eat that food. As well, the natural geographic distribution of minerals, loss of topsoil, the use of certain fertilizers, and continuous cropping and farming all contribute to mineral scarcity in the world's soils. Further, consider the refining and processing of modern 'foods' and it is understandable why we do not receive a full spectrum of minerals, yet doing so is crucial. |
