Acidophilus Enteric

As much as 98% of the fragile, living organisms in many acidophilus powders, liquids and capsules are destroyed by harsh stomach acids before they reach the lower intestinal tract. This product is acid resistant and heat tolerant to allow maximum potency of live organisms to the lower intestinal tract where it is needed to restore and/or maintain a balance of healthful organisms and inhibit the growth of pathogenic organisms.*

Each capsule contains 2.8 billion live organisms from specially selected strains of Lactobacillus Acidophilus and Lactobacillus Casei subsp. Rhamnosus.*

This is because the micro-organisms contained in this product are delicate and may be perishable from prolonged exposure to intense heat (short-term exposure is OK, and not a concern).

Heat Sensitive Products shipping within the USA via 2nd Day Air may ship (depart from the warehouse) on Monday through Wednesday, but cannot ship out on Thursday nor Friday due to the potential for spoilage and lost potency. Similarly, such orders shipping within the USA via Next Day Air may ship Monday through Thursday, but cannot ship out on Friday.

Customers who choose to ship Heat Sensitive Products via Standard and Ground shipping services agree to take full responsibility for the condition of the products received. We can not and do not accept returns on Heat Sensitive products.

Suggested Use

As a dietary supplement, one (1) capsule daily after a meal for two (2) weeks, then dosage may be increased to one (1) capsule, three times (3x) daily after meals. KEEP REFRIGERATED: To maintain maximum potency, store tightly capped in refrigerator.
